Important Instruction

  1. It is mandatory for the candidates to register on the UGC-DEB web portal with his/her Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID to generate a unique DEB-ID before enrolling in the ODL/ONLINE Programme.
  2. Candidates shall be required to upload all the necessary documents (self-attested) while filling out the Online application form.
  3. If any original documents are needed during the admission process, the candidates shall be required to send the same through surface mail by the stipulated deadline.
  4. Candidates are strongly advised to ensure their eligibility for the programme/s before submitting their application. Admissions will be made strictly in accordance with the eligibility criteria. (Click here for Eligibility Criteria)
  5. Applications incomplete in any form and/or without the supporting documents shall be summarily rejected. No request for reconsideration shall be entertained in this regard.
  6. The Provisional Admission shall be made after the verification of Application Form submitted.
  7. Admission cancellation and fee refund shall be strictly as per the norms prescribed by the University.
  8. For International candidates, the eligibility in the programme shall be determined by deriving equivalence of the qualifying degree.
  9. International students must comply with the legal requirements of the Government of India, as shall be applicable for studying in India.
  10. Since the programme shall be delivered in online/digital/virtual mode, internet connectivity will be the responsibility of the student concerned.
  11. It is compulsory to indicate the same e-mail and telephone number that candidates registered with the Aadhar Card.
  12. Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the given time-lines of admission.
  13. Applicants considering to pursue 'dual degree' are advised to refer the dual degree norms / guidelines of University of Jammu available on University Website: www.jammuuniversity.ac.in.
  14. The candidates have to submit affidavit certified by the notary in case of their inability to upload the required documents during the time of application. (Click here for Affidavit Format)
